Website
design has always been a key skill in the technology industry, and to
learn it costs unnecessary thousands of pounds, a lot of time and
having to learn a whole new language in which to talk to your computer,
just to get the simplest of tasks done.Well now we can all stop going to the local media company to get our websites done and paying stupidly high prices, and simply pop to the shops and come home with a package that will sort all the hard stuff out for you! Introducing Mr Site - The Takeaway Website.
Mr Site is a website itself with a programme to help you build your very own website whether it be personal or professional, there is a package for everyone. Rated highly by many that have used it, including the infamous Dragon's Den entrepreneur Levi Roots (the man who created Reggae Reggae sauce), Mr Site makes things straightforward and simple to get to grips with.
I have to say, being a designer myself; it interested me to see how easy Mr Site really was. So I signed up and threw away the manual to get cracking with a few test runs.
Firstly I'd like to mention that Mr Site runs all your hosting, and depending on your package, comes equipped with email, a certain amount of web space, a set page count and unlimited bandwidth, so you get a complete web package with everything included.
So onto the actual building and I must say its brilliant, a help box is constantly there to explain what button does what and everything is laid out in a clear fashion. Start by choosing a design from their huge catalogue, and then specify the amount of pages you want and start creating your content. Once you've done that, add extras, for example: logos, headers, pictures, and music, even a shop if you have anything to sell.
I have to say one irritating feature is that you cannot preview the whole site unless you publish it, which is okay when you are creating a site from scratch, but can be a little annoying when you are replacing an old site. Other than this, I can't really fault the software, the whole experience is done through a portal on their own website, meaning that you can update it on any computer, from anywhere in the world, so long as you have an internet connection, brilliant for keeping things fresh on the move.
Another fantastic section is 'Admin'. Here you can create mailing lists, watch your stats and optimise your website for search engines, meaning you don't have to spend hours trawling the net to find out how to do this. Along with all this, Mr Site runs an affiliate scheme, presenting their own adverts on your site, if they get a referral from you and sell a product, you earn up to £15 per product and the referee gets up to 25% off their product. A fantastic way to make money from your online presence.
I could go on forever, but I can only recommend you get into it for yourself. I have also tested out their support team and they can't do enough to help you either. So if you do have any troubles, you're never too far away from a helping hand. So impressed was I from Mr Site, that Top Gayer is currently being re-built under this software, so you can see for yourselves how great it is, and we will be recommending Mr Site to everyone!

ATTENTION ALL SMOKERS! The next generation of smoking is here…and its battery powered?
Thanks to www.IWantOneOfThose.com I've found the 'Gamucci Cigarette' the healthy alternative to smoking. Now, being a smoker I took it upon myself to test it to the limit!! That's right I spent a month deliberately looking for stressful situations. This included a flight to Poland, a wedding, and finally one week in close proximity of my family.
Now, let me tell you what this great little substitute is all about. It looks, glows and works like a real cigarette. Similar to the inhalers that are designed to help you quit, the Gamucci holds a nicotine cartridge that gives you the hit you need, while releasing water as condensation, which gives you the effect of smoking.Gamucci
I was in for a tough month. After trying to assemble the damn thing, I was set and ready to go cold turkey. Equipped with a pack of ten for emergencies and my Gamucci, held in it's posh little velvet pouch, I went out in search of stress!
Poland
We set off at 5am and I had a puff to secure my stress to deal with the 3 ½ hour journey to Stansted. All was looking good so far, the hit had kept me going for about 2 hours until we stopped at a services. Another puff another 2 hours, brilliant! This'll be easy!
The Flight
It felt like forever, and sods law meant I needed a cigarette more than ever. Suddenly I had a stroke of genius, I'd go to the toilet with my Gamucci and no one would know. What's fantastic about this ciggi is that there are no lingering smells, and it's you can't second hand smoke from it. Perfect for indoors!
Family
By the end of the flight, I was feeling a little sick of the full strength taste. So I treated myself to a real cigarette…next our accommodation. A lovely sounding apartment for the 5 of us, minutes away from the town centre. Got there and found one double room for the parents, a futon, and a camp bed for me (fitting I know). 4 nights sharing a room with two of my sisters, oestrogen everywhere, not to mention worrying if the bed were to fold with me in it. So out I went and took another hit.
Wedding
A few days later, wedding day and everyone is rushing about to get ready, I woke only to find 3 reserves left in my emergency pack. Not good. Fast forward to the end of the week and I had 200 cigarettes packed, ready to smoke when we hit the UK.
So, not the perfect time to test this gadget out, but I'm not denying that it helped tide me over when stress levels were…lower. Plus with all the benefits of being able to smoke indoors and clubs and pubs, it's perfect for all you 20 a day disco queens.
Sun Jar

I'm in the mood for...
Mood lighting! After my little outburst about eco-gadgets , I decided that Solar Lighting is the way to save electricity. The Sun Jar is the perfect replacement for Candlight and there's no plugs leads or anything that will mess up the room! The amount of light it Sun Jaremmits is truley brilliant for such a little bulb, and also could be tw inned as a night light.
The Sun Jar charges whilst the room is naturally lit, and as soon as the sun goes in the Jar lights to suit the amount of light in the room. Lastly what's fantastic is that even if you forget about it, you dont need to worry about any fires starting when you're out and about.
Aduki Ni

Now another little light that is truley amazing is the Mathmos Aduki Ni. This little pebble shaped mood light is really elegant and fits in with todays minamalistic styling of modern homes. The pebble, when off, looks like a solid silver paperweight, once charged and turned on, the shiny stone turns into a spectrum of beauty as it cycles through the specific colours. The Mathmos Aduki Ni comes with a tie to hang it in the garden (like fruit from a tree) so you can enjoy the little wonderment anywhere you are.
I love this little marvel, its elegant when off as well as on, and I think it's possibly one of the most stylish and subtle ways to mood light your home.
